Berglund Construction is a 100 year old commercial construction company located in Chicago, and they had previously wrapped up one of the most memorable projects, installing “The Ledge” in Chicago’s monumental Willis Tower (formerly The Sears Tower). For the completion of the project, they had asked us to design a simple mailer to be mailed to all of their past and present clients and friends, and let them know,”Hey. Berglund is still around and we’re still taking on big things!”
Local Musician V8 approached me with the idea of doing his album art, for his yet to be released collaboration with east coast’s musician Shortrock. “I want some Alejandro Jodorowsky type sh*t” was the way he described to me about what we were going for. I took on the job, playing off of the idea of bathrooms meets electro meets Jodorowsky.

Maxaron Forte is a multivitamin with iron, produced by Centrix Pharmaceuticals. We were asked to design two sales aids that the sales team can take around to pursue sales to pharmaceutical distributors, doctors, and OB-GYN’s. Centrix wanted two pieces for two different markets, pregnant women, and physically active women, who keep track of their personal health and have may have a potential risk of anemia…
Northyx is another product produced by Centrix Pharmaceutical, and I had the pleasure of creating a sales aid for the reps to use on the road when trying to land sales with pharmacists, pharmaceutical distributors and doctors. This product is geared to females who suffer from hyperthyroidism and are having problems with everyday activities that are effected by loss of balance.
Transistor is a local book store/record store/furniture store/gallery/radio station/classroom that is located in the heart of Andersonville. Upon meeting the owners, and them asking me to sell some work of mine on commission, I took on the task of designing a poster for them and one of their events. I had no spec sheet or holds on this, so I came up with a poster for their reading event that takes place in the shop. The imagery chosen fit the store and the event quite nicely, and was developed as a template for them to use for their future reading events.
Shown are some logos that I had the privilege create for different clients in the music and arts industries.
Void Pedal: Chad Schneider goes by the alias Void Pedal, and he is an independent producer and musician in the hip hop scene of Chicago and Portland. The concept behind the logo was that he wanted something solid, but also very throw-back and psychedelic. I created this logo…

Intercall was a client of CushmanAmberg Communications while I was working there. Over the holiday season of 2008/2009, they had asked us to do some simple info graphics based on a survey they had taken. What I came up is what you see up top, and would eventually be projected up on a giant monitor in time square in the busiest foot traffic time of year.
Back in 2005, I had the chance to design a campaign for Cat Footwear, for their line of out doors hiking boots. I came up with the simple illustration of a person, caught up in different obstacle…
A friend in Denmark had asked me to design a poster for their benefit party to raise awareness on human trafficking. After discussion, she mentioned that all of her previous designers make their promotions too Bauhaus, or too clean and modern and it was missing what they were trying to convey. After my own research I found that a lot of these causes raising awareness…
While designing at Cushman/Amberg Communications, one of our St. Louis clients, Champion Bank, had asked us to create a newsletter, that they can send out to their existing clientele, offering tips and news during the economically harsh times of 2009.
Back in 2004, I developed a character out of boredom, and I soon began to replicate him in different ethnic and social stereotypes. Being unemployed at the time, I started mass producing the character and making stickers and wheate-pastes…
When the occasion calls for it, I have parties. Everyone does. I try to make my parties themed, just to make it a little more intersting. And when the idea of partying comes into play, I go off the deep end and design fliers and posters to act as…
This is a personal project I created out of boredom, using fruits saying ironic things. When creating this, I kept in mind that I wanted to one day market this to parents of young children, weather on t-shirts, bibs, and all types of child accessories.
